Benefits from this year's tournament

This year, our goal is to raise funds to support the children in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia. Frank Foundation is working with the region to identify the most pressing needs for these children.

In 2008, Frank Foundation Child Assistance International launched a humanitarian initiative to address urgent needs of orphans, disabled and other disadvantaged children of the Arkhangelsk Region. Together with the Senator Rushailo and Governor Mikhailchuk, FFCAI provided immediate and direct aid to the most desperate children in the region.

FFCAI continues its commitment to supporting the children and has been pleased to expand its efforts in Arkhangelsk through increasing support and commitment of the international community. Along with private donations from compassionate individuals, contributions from Russian corporation RUSSNEFT and Friends of Frank, a major donation was made in the spring of 2011 to include a total of 37 deluxe pediatric wheelchairs, rehab equipment and educational toys to benefit wards of the Municipal Rehabilitation Center for Experimental Support for Children with Limited Mobility in Velsk, Arkhangelsk Region.

An earlier request, which FFCAI has committed to donate, include an industrial washer and dryer for the orphanage. The cost is 117,990 rubles for the washer and 112,950 rubles for the dryer (approximately $4,000 USD each). The old washer and dryers are over 20 years old and barely work, laundry is done by hand by staff. More manual labor only takes away precious time for the children who desperately need their support.

100% of the proceeds of this year's tournament will be directed towards these efforts.
