... providing relief for abandoned children in the Republic of Georgia
Benefits from this year's tournament
The 6th Annual Fore the Children Golf Classic will benefit the children of the Republic of Georgia.
The children of the Republic of Georgia are no strangers to suffering. Since the collapse of the
Soviet Union in 1992, the once prosperous republic quickly spiraled downward as the country
became engulfed in a bitter civil war. There are now thousands of children residing in government
institutions throughout Georgia. The conditions in these orphanages are dire.
Year 2004 brings forth renewed hope and vigor for the nation of Georgia , as well as an opportunity
for Frank Foundation to make a significant difference in the lives of these orphans.
Frank Foundation has designed a plan of action to provide immediate relief while working for
long-term change. The proceeds of this year's Fore the Children golf tournament will be utilized
to create a special maternity ward and center for abandoned infants within the Central Hospital in
Tbilisi, Georgia. This specialized unit will be equipped to provide much needed care to orphaned
infants. This program will work to prevent illnesses which often have lifelong consequences.
Frank Foundation firmly believes that by providing an environment specifically created
to meet the critical needs of infants, we will be providing them the opportunity for a full life. The
funds from this tournament can make it possible for these children to get the start on life that all
children deserve.
This year's Fore the Children Annual Charity Golf Classic will benefit the babies of Georgia.
